Activities include poppy sales and donations supported by uniformed Armed Forces members, veterans, and volunteers, with handmade Scottish poppies (distinguished by four petals).

Highlights feature displays of historic military vehicles by the Scottish Military Vehicle Group, live performances such as singing by the Edinburgh and Rosyth Military Wives Choirs (including songs like "We Will Remember Them").

This event aligns with the national Poppy Appeal, which began poppies availability from October 23, leading up to Remembrance Sunday on November 9th.
