For most people urban life is challenging to navigate. It is viewed as full of opportunities to thrive and succeed, with many youth migrating from rural to urban areas in search of employment. Life in urban centres, moreso Nairobi, can be demanding and fast paced especially for the elderly. However, there is a growing group of senior citizens who unlike years gone by, have not retreated to the safety and relatively slow pace of their rural homes. They have no one to look after them in their sunset years.
