Sony A7C 4K Cinematic

So when I first heard about the A7C. I probably got the feeling as most of the people. Why? In terms of the specs, the A7C got very similar specs as the A7III and almost identical video specs but just US$100 cheaper. (When A7III on special, definitely cheaper)

But after a second thought I think the A7C is actually a really nice camera. First of all, I do a lot of travel videos, and destination weddings. Having a smaller body is very important to me. Although it’s only 150g lighter comparing with the A7III. But trust me, it adds up. Especially when you have to carry a number of lenses and multiple tripods (Weddings). Also when the camera is a lot lighter you can use the Crane M2 gimbal. 

Even tho the video specs might not impress most of you. But the “Gyro Data” is just insane. Basically the camera records all the movements and the shakes in your shot. Then when you do the editing in post. It stabzilies the clip for you. And its gimbal-like.

Overall, I think the A7C is a great camera. And I sort of understand why Sony wanna make a compact version of the A7III. As in 2019 when Sigma announced their worlds smallest full frame camera. (380g) They sold heaps in Japan. So there is definitely a market in Asia.
