I took a day trip to Wellington aboard the Capital Connection passenger train, with DFB 7023 up front. This service has recently been upgraded with more former British Rail Mk2 coaches to replace the previous 'S' class coaches, which were also Mk2s. Except these replacements have been refurbished (again) to the same standard as Te Huia's SR coaches.

Whilst in the capital, I saw more DFBs on the Wairarapa Line passenger services and DL 9325 on the Q4 shunt at Woburn. Of course, some of the Matangi EMUs appear in the video as well.
