Jewish journalist and analyst who lived undercover in Iran for nearly a decade, posing as a devout Shia Muslim to access the heart of the regime. Born into a secular Sephardi Jewish family in France, she later studied in London, converted to Islam, married a Yemeni man, and spent years traveling through Yemen and Iran, building trust with the leadership and high-ranking IRGC figures.

During her time in Tehran, she published op-eds and analysis in key Iranian outlets—including Mashregh, Tasnim, Mehr, and on Khamenei.ir—and even secured a private audience with Supreme Leader Khamenei and a televised interview with then-presidential candidate Ebrahim Raisi in 2017. Between 2015–17, her articles appeared on Khamenei’s site before being quietly removed amid scandal.

In 2024, she revealed to the Sunday Telegraph that Iran’s elite had allowed her unprecedented access—despite her Jewish identity—and warned that Tehran has deeply embedded networks operating in the West. By exposing Iran’s intent to map Jewish and diaspora figures for potential targeting, she has triggered internal crackdowns and executions in Iran.

Now based in London, she leads the advocacy group “We Believe in Israel” and serves as a researcher at the Henry Jackson Society. She continues to issue stark warnings on Iran’s ideological warfare, its encroachments into Western democracies, and its destabilizing ambitions across the Middle East.
