What's up everybody! Today we are continuing our tutorial series: A-Z in Reason studios. In this video we are checking out the Poly Step Sequencer.

The poly step sequencer is a player inside of Reason 12. Players are midi note generators that make creating melodies, chord progressions, and midi patterns extremely easy.

After using the Poly step sequencer I believe it is much better tool than most piano rolls. It is a piano roll in a way, only much better. With Scales and Chord implementation, you can easily make melodies within a specific key.

But the player can also randomly change midi notes, velocity values, and pitch changes. The player can build chords, add variations to midi patterns and you can record into the player as well!
