League of Legends is a controversial subject by itself. It's a good game, but a toxic community. It's too competitive, yet there are too many "trolls". Everyone wants to win, yet everyone gives up. In this dichotomous game of five-versus-five, how does anyone manage to have "Fun"?

You'd think perhaps that the solution is to play off meta or "stop caring", but as with most things, it's never quite that simple, and the first part isn't even necessary!

Toxicity
Just to add for clarity, I think I found League most suitable when I was neither worried about incoming toxicity nor affected by it any longer, and it definitely used to and I definitely used to worry about it. I really do think letting someone go off without replying much in chat is more than fine, they're just going mad and you can distance yourself from that by thinking about just how kind of sad that is. They'll get over it in an hour or a day, probably. The main thing is you don't need to win an argument with them, or argue at all.

Powercreep and Meta
I pray for a meta that doesn't snowball as hard but I'm still planning on enjoying the next season and not just in Swift Play. A more snowbally game is not preferred to me but still fine by me, even though I've been parroting off about how much I dislike it over the past few years. There are still ways I can try to adapt to the new metas and focusing on that, and finding my fit into the new metas my way is more fun for me than trying to focus on winning in these bizarre matches, if that makes sense.

Monetisation
Just for clarity, again, I don't particularly like the Jinx gacha or the idea of the Exalted skins at all, but just because I wouldn't berate someone else for deciding to go for it, doesn't mean I'm giving my personal approval to Riot to do more of this, not that it would matter to them.
Also no I don't plan on spending on the World Link SEKAI event either... Not much, anyway. :3
