I work for the Fire Dept and Search and Rescue, this is one of the best watches in my opinion. It gives me the features I need and want when I want them. The compass feature is awesome because you can change your declination if needed and it's easier to get a quick bearing than pulling out the Garmin from your chest pack.
The cons :the buttons on my newest watch are very stiff, I'm hoping with time and usage they will soften.
The thermometer is only accurate if you remove the watch from your wrist. I believe the instructions say to wait twenty minutes for a reliable ambient air temperature. That works if your sitting at camp or something but if your on the go, not so much.
Other than that great watch and I highly recommend it to everyone!
