Full brake job on the Land Cruiser 80! From seized bolts and corroded brackets to repacked bearings, new seals, calipers, rotors, and a parking brake rebuild — this one had it all. We tackled broken hardware, soaked rusty parts in vinegar, wire-wheeled grime, painted bell cranks, and even uncovered a major safety hazard where the locking rings weren’t bent properly.

The rear brakes and parking brake are rebuilt, the front hubs and calipers are refreshed, and everything’s packed with fresh high-temp grease. Still some troubleshooting left with the brake booster, but this 80 Series is a big step closer to actually stopping the way it should.
