Описание к видео Broken Promises, Broken Systems: An Indigenous view of theodicy in the form of systemic injustice

In this lecture Rev. Dr. Carmen Lansdowne analyses theodicy - why a loving God should permit evil -and the ways in which our failure to act on the side of justice allows for the proliferation of evil in the form of systemic injustice. The current context in Canada where non-indigenous people were “shocked” by news that was (in reality) not news to indigenous peoples about our complicated history has borne witness to the ways in which individual intention has nothing to do with systemic injustice.
