Justin Northwest (TX) freshman Cooper Lutkenhaus reset his own U.S. high school freshman class record in the boys 800 at the 2024 RunningLane Track Championships, clocking 1:49.12 for the win.

That bested the star freshman's previous best and class record of 1:49.84 that he set weeks earlier in his win at the UIL 5A State Championships.
