This wrench is a neat idea but is difficult to use in most normal situations because of the way the head flops around. They are useful in odd and rare situations where you need the wrench to be at a certain angle that other pipe wrenches cannot achieve or where there is a lot of obstructions and you need the ratcheting handle to get the part loose. They did have other sizes this happens to be a 10" version.
