Puran poli is an Indian sweet flatbread (Meethi Poori), it is very popular dish in western India (particularly in Maharashtra). It is also known as Vedmi in Gujarati, Boli in Malayalam and Tamil, Baksham or Bobbattu or Oliga in Telugu and Polae for much thinner version in Telangana, Holige or Obbattu in Kannada, Ubbatti or simply Poli in Konkani. In this recipe of Instant Puran Poli I have shown easy way of making this dish, this puran poli is made without soaking or grinding the chana dal.

Preparation time - 30 minutes

Ingredients:

Split Black Gram (chana dal)- 1/2 cup
Jaggery (gud )- 1/ cup
All purpose flour (maida)- 1/2 cup
Wheat flour (atta)- 1/4 cup
Ghee - 4 tbsp
Cardamom powder (elaichi powder)- 1/4 tsp
Salt -1/4 tsp
