FULL African Sinte Dance by Tahma Cultural Troupe at the Cultural Center in Tamale, Ghana 🇬🇭

This is a FULL performance of the Tahma Cultural Troupe at the National Cultural Center in Tamale, Ghana. The only edits were brief pauses in the performance. The drummers, being drummers, noodle around a lot even between dances.

This means you're getting this with all of the little foibles and recording issues NOT edited out. I never know exactly what they're going to do. They've given me the go-ahead to get into the arena for filming, but I'm also working hard to stay out of their way while also trying to get interesting shots. Some things work, some don't.

You get to see ALL of that.

The only other editing I've done is to do a little light and color leveling. It's hot season and the show doesn't start until 5pm which means the sun is going down as they're performing.

This group rehearses most weekdays at the National Cultural Center in Tamale, Ghana. They are so much fun to watch. Every time I go it's a different set of dances. Some are traditional and some are of their own design. Great to keep the performance and creativity fresh.

Note: They don't perform during Ramadan.

The Troupe is available for hire. I hope to see a fully costumed performance one day. Of course I will share it on this channel as well.
