[Beyond HAN KANG] Choi In-hoon

The late Choi In-hoon’s “The Square” is a representative work of Korean division literature, depicting the life of a character caught between the corrupted, closed-off society of South Korea and the corrupted, public space of North Korea. In his works including “The Square”, the author reflects on the essence of life in a divided era and the distorted lives of modern individuals.
