The Far Shores update adds two full new biomes - Axis Mundi bridge and the fridgid Kerguelen Plains. It adds three new classes - Duelist, Cook and Valkyrie. It tweaks countless things and generally adds more content.

In this video we see how to get to Axis Mundi and how to get the heirloom that gives you access to it using the Resonance skill. We meet Pizza Girl, plus find a couple of hints of future biomes.
