Prof Chung-Min Tsai on Taiwan losing diplomatic ally Nauru two days after election

Taiwan has lost another diplomatic ally, after the Pacific Island nation of Nauru severed relations with it to re-establish formal ties with Beijing. This comes just two days after Taiwan elected democrat William Lai as its new president. That leaves just 12 countries with formal diplomatic relations with Taiwan. Dr Chung-Min Tsai, Professor of Political Science at National Chengchi University in Taipei, shared more about Nauru's decision and Taiwan's legislature.
