We pulled up to the 2025 San Diego Lao Food Festival at Allied Gardens Community Park — it’s their 3rd annual event, reppin’ Lao culture, food, and small businesses in San Diego. The fam came out to eat, hang, and see what’s changed since we been overseas the last couple years.

We kept it real:
– Figured out the entrance (pro tip: buy tickets online for a two-for-one deal 😅)
– Snapped a group pic at the flower arch right at the entrance 📸
– Tried some meatball sticks, kwa mee, swirl fry potato, and a thum mak hoong that nearly lit our mouths on fire 🔥
– Walked around while the fam stood in food lines
– Checked out the merch booths (kinda light but still cool)
– Noticed the music cut out for a bit — killed the vibe for a minute
– Saw a claw machine game area for the kids, but a jumper would’ve let the adults breathe a little more 😂
