I have been a freelance makeup artist for almost 7 years now and here's a list of things I hate about it. This is a very honest and open discussion on all of the downsides of being a MUA and working in the beauty industry as a self-employed artist. I know a lot of these will also be relevant for other parts of the beauty industry too! I think it's important to highlight the good and the bad when it comes to careers like this one.
