Barry Ryan ~Goodbye~ 1. Solo Single Released June 16th , 1968 Video with Remastered Sound by Stefan

Dear friends,
This is Barry Ryan with his first solo single which was released on June 16th in 1968 called ~Goodbye~. As far as I remember this was released prior to ' Eloise' but perhaps I have this wrong. But after I researched this , it did indicate that this single was released 3 to 4 months prior to 'Eloise'. 'Eloise' was originally released as Barry Ryan with the Majority on October 4th 1968 but I also see another release of "Eloise" which was on the 15th of November .
'Goodbye' was written by Dave Most and Clive Westlake and on the B side is the song "I'm So Sad" written by Paul Ryan which I will also share in the coming weeks or so.
'Goodbye' was later also released as a B Side to 'Eloise' in some countries so this is where the confusion I suppose stems from.
'Goodbye' was also released in different languages and became very popular in Germany.
The sound of this song has been remastered by Stefan and I am very grateful. He added the German Stereo backing to the English version of this.
I created this video with various footage and a backdrop and green screen ( not using apps) and created this in loving memory of Barry and it is shared under the terms of fair use.

I love this song even though I feel that the first solo song published should have been written by Paul but I guess the men in suits believed it was a safer bet to start with this song. Again if I made an error in this, I apologize but I tried to check all relevant information.

'Goodbye' is a simple song, nothing bombastic or epic about this song but in some ways it lets Barry's vocals shine as it is a simple song and he sings it with incredible feel and to me it sounds like classic song from that era.

I feel blessed having met both Barry and Paul and I will remember them with such joy and nostalgia.
