We started off with some command-line Python to ensure it is installed. Then we opened Visual Studio Code and saved a file with a .py extension. We were then prompted to install a Python Extension for Visual Studio Code. We were also prompted to select a Python Interpreter. Once that was completed, we wrote and executed the simple, one-line "Hello World" program in Python.
