Travis Browne: MMA Fighter and Regenerative Rancher - Notes from the Hometown Roadshow

At a recent Soil Health Academy Workshop in California, we had the incredible honor of meeting Travis Browne from Browsey Acres.

Travis opened up about the challenges he experienced as a new farmer during his first harvest season. Through his journey, he discovered that while this time may be tough, the reward of ensuring a secure protein source for your family and community is immeasurable.

Travis and his wife Ronda from Browsey Acres bought their ranch and immediately dug into regenerative agriculture education, even seeking on-farm consulting!

Taking that education to the next level, Travis attended a Soil Health Academy workshop in California, which is where he shared his remarkable journey with us.

He expressed how he was driven to seek more education on improving his land after following numerous regenerative movements, including our own! (How cool?!)

Travis shares that with regenerative ag education, learning one piece leads to insights in many other areas, fostering continuous improvement - something his journey over the last six months clearly illustrates!
