Hey everyoooooooone !!

Loooong time no see !! I hope you’re all doing great ! I’ve been underwater (basically busy with university) since like … september and … I’m FINALLY about to be done with it !! (Still few exams, few research papers to write and a job to find before october).
To be honest … I’m half sad and happy it finally ends (I can’t deal with uni projects and exams every week … but at the same time … University life was pretty fun). I was lucky doing my Masters degree in that one and learned so much about my specialty, life and especially … about me.

Meanwhile ! I still had time to watch Shingeki no Kyoujin and of course … to listen to its (mess of an-) opening “Shoukei to Shikabane no Michi” (Path of Aspirations and Corpses) !! The piece itself musically reminds every single one of the Linked Horizon songs from the past seasons (Guren no Yumiya, Jiyuu no Tsubasa, Shinzou wo Sasageyou and Requiem der Morgenröte).
Of course had to cover the song !!

Seriously there, the instrumental arrangement was quite a challenge to work on! The original version was rather mixed as an orchestral piece while I tried to emphasize the power metal aspect of the song (especially drums and guitars) while having enough room to let the choirs and the vocals make through. Despite that, I really enjoyed working on that song. It was tons of powerful moments to work on !

Let’s talk about Boo:ooM now ! Some of you have asked me some news about it ! I had to delay many times the Album launch date du to the lack of proper time to finish the songs I had to work on, and especially to rework on some elements of the story. Boo:ooM being a concept album following an original story, I really want it to make sense on every aspect. On the next months, we’re planning to fill the few plot holes that the story has and to end the audio part. Video’s still in progress since Steel has faced the same issues as me (basically being loaded with other professional works). We’ll give you some more news in the next few weeks !
