In this episode of Scan My Brain, Fitness Instructor ‪@shauntfitness‬ visits Dr. Daniel Amen at Amen Clinics Orange County metro area to get his brain scanned. Shaun had experienced sexual abuse at a young age by someone very close to him, and the lingering effects on his mental health sparked curiosity to see what was going on in his brain. Dr. Amen shows Shaun how the trauma has manifested in his brain through his brain SPECT scans. Dr. Amen then gives Shaun practical tips for healing his brain and moving on past the trauma.
