The University of Kansas Hospital has been named one of America's 100 Best Hospitals™, as measured by Healthgrades.

The hospital is recognized by Healthgrades for achieving clinical outcomes that are better than expected across a majority of procedures and conditions performed, from 2010 to 2012 consistently, year after year, for a minimum of four years. It is the only hospital in the metropolitan Kansas City area so honored.

In addition, The University of Kansas Hospital was one of ten hospitals interviewed for Healthgrades new report, "Voices of America's Best: Strategies That Sustain Quality", which takes an in-depth look at the strategies, goals and processes of the country's top performing hospitals. Hospital officials contributed their experience and best practices they credit for sustaining their performance and placing them in the top 2% of all hospitals in the U.S.
