On Monday 12th July, I will begin a 2 week Crown Court Trial, in relation to an action taken by Extinction Rebellion at the Brazilian embassy two years ago.

I was arrested whilst stood outside the embassy for doing nothing. I was later charged using a "joint enterprise" loophole. Over a year after the action took place, I went on to co-found Palestine Action, a network taking direct action to shut down Israel's largest arms company in the UK. Failing to find substantial evidence, the prosecution is attempting to bring in actions that happened under Palestine Action, as a way to paint me out as a "bad character" and falsely convict me of something that I did not do.

And now I am going to fight vigorously for a not guilty verdict, alongside my co-defendants who did take brave and courageous action to stop the destruction the Brazilian government causes to the Amazon rainforest and the murder of indigenous people.
