Innie versus Outie Cut-and-Fold Tutorial Part 1

One of the reasons that I love the cut-and-fold book folding technique is that it is so versatile. There are a variety of ways that you can work a cut-and-fold pattern. You can make the image sink into the page (an "innie"); you can make the image pop out of the page (an "outie"); you can do a little of each within the same image (a "multi-layer").

And all of those utilize the same pattern. So how do you decide? How do you work a pattern differently to make an innie or an outie fold? Let me show you!
