Serious Two-Car Collision with Entrapment in Anaheim

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 9-26-23,
LOCATION: SB 5 and Brookhurst Street Off-Ramp
CITY: Anaheim
DETAILS:

California Highway Patrol, Westminster office, and Anaheim Fire and Rescue responded to a reported two-car collision with entrapment.
When units arrived, they found a Minivan that was overturned and two occupants trapped.
Firefighters extricated them, extrication took approximately 18 minutes.
Both occupants were transported to a local area hospital in an unknown condition.
The people in the second vehicle suffered minor injuries and were not transported.
At this time, it appears that speed may have been a factor
