Changing the Stereotype; ABCD | Kushi Hosahalli | TEDxBISV Youth

In her talk, Kushi discusses what it's like to be raised among two different cultures and how she found a balance between her Indian heritage and American upbringing. Kushi’s talk delves into everything from the snarky comments to big picture differences she, and thousands of other second generation immigrants face in their daily lives. Kushi shares her journey in hopes of securing a more inclusive and culturally diverse world. Kushi is currently a sophomore in high school who stays active in her community by volunteering and facilitating local leadership conferences. In addition, Kushi participates in a variety of extra-curriculars on campus and recently attended the World Scholars Cup competition at Yale University.
