Jammu, October 20, 2025:
On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, All India Sangram Sena, Jammu & Kashmir organized a special celebration with the orphans and differently-abled children residing at the Orphanage House (Bal Ashram), Amphalla (Vaid Mandir), Jammu
The organization has been carrying forward this noble tradition for the past 25 years, reflecting its deep commitment to social welfare, inclusivity, and community service.
The event aimed to uplift the morale of the children and provide them an opportunity to experience the joy and warmth of the festival. Various cultural and entertainment programs were held, along with the distribution of sweets, fruits, crackers, clothes, and essential items among the children, visually impaired individuals, and senior citizens.
As part of the celebration, 21 different stalls serving sweets, fruits, and other delicacies were set up, along with handicraft stalls by various departments. The participation of Sangram Sena members, their families, and well-wishers added joy to the festive spirit.
Speaking on the occasion, Sh. Rajesh Raina, President of All India Sangram Sena, J&K, expressed gratitude to all members and supporters who contributed to the success of the event. He emphasized that festivals like Diwali remind us of our collective responsibility toward the underprivileged and inspire acts of compassion and unity.
“While everyone celebrates Diwali with their loved ones, our true joy lies in sharing light and happiness with those who need it the most,” said Sh. Raina. “Every contribution—whether sweets, fruits, crackers, or financial support—adds strength to our mission of spreading hope and inclusivity.”
