Boyd Lake State Park is one of the most popular fisheries in Colorado. As such it gets intense pressure and fish harvest, requiring equally intense management to keep the fishing good. On this day we ran around trying to accumulate a variety of species, techniques and fishing locations before eventually joining the managing biologist from Colorado Parks & Wildlife on the lake to learn about their fish population sampling efforts.
