Mary Ingalls Blind School Grounds Tour Vinton 2022 Tour

Laura Ingalls Wilder's sister, Mary Ingalls attended the Iowa School for the Blind and Sight Saving School in Vinton, Iowa. Today the campus has been closed down and sold (the current school is located in Council Bluffs and has been combined with the School for the Deaf). This is an update since my last trip to Vinton. The current owners are trying to sell the property, but have opened a restaurant in the hospital building on the school grounds called the Old Hospital Pub. This is what there is to see today.
