Activating and connecting the AUX on a 2005 Honda Jazz (EU Model)

A whistle-stop tour around the activation of the AUX function on a base model 2005 (05 plate) Honda Jazz (EU Model) ... you need a jumper and a connector off of a PC (a jumper off a motherboard or a hard drive and a couple of wires and connectors out of PC case)... google "honda jazz AUX" or take a look here (remember the non-EU models may vary from this):

Recline the front seats and lie down in each to look up and into the dashboard to see the two 8mm hex bolt heads you will need to undo (using a long socket head) to get the dash panel down. The bolts screw into captive nuts to make refitting easier. NOTE where these are when you finally get the dash panel out. It is confined in the "hole" by the heater cables and the wiring looms SO before you try to yank the panel out, check what is getting in the way since lifting the panel up a bit can help to free it up to pull out.

Ensure you fasten any loose wires you add well and truly out of harms way ALSO remember forcing ANYTHING can permanently damage plastic mouldings ALSO if you are in any doubt as to your ability to undertake work in this are DON'T leave it to someone who is. ALL advice here is in good faith as I cannot verify whether what I have done is right for your combination of circumstances!
