Weave Along with Elewys, Ep. 26: Double Face Laurel Leaves Tablet Weaving

In this video, I am making a pair of silk sock garters for a friend for her elevation to the Laurel, which will be happening this June. This design is a double-sided tablet woven laurel leaf pattern in 20/2 silk.

Sewing:

Cards:
* 2 1/2" wide (63 mm) made on a 3D printer, a pattern designed by my husband. * 3 1/4" cards from Schacht Spindle Company, which run $8 for 25 cards. I love these because they are colored on the edges and they are thin but very durable. Similar cards are made by Lacis but without the colored edges.
