A common question I get from friends and family is, what are the prices like in Brazil? In this video I break it all down, from the cost of rent to what it costs to paraglide in Rio. I was living in the Seattle area before I moved to Brazil and found that a lot of things such as rent, uber rides, internet/phone bills run about 1/5 the cost of the I payed in Seattle (WITH the current exchange rate). It's very important to factor that in because it can fluctuate greatly. As of right now, the dollar is doing well (current exchange rate is 5.4 Reais= 1 USD).

Where we live now, in Florianopolis, is a bit more expensive than where we lived in Rio. But even so, it's very affordable compared to Seattle. If you guys have any questions please feel free to leave them in the comments below.
