Humanity, in the near future, has been venturing far into the reaches of space and discovering new worlds. Various planets have become home to scientific bases thanks to recent advances. One of the projects responsible for this progression, named Gemini, has crafted a rare terraforming machine designed for a specific planet. The contraption is dispatched to an exoplanet many lightyears away, in search of a potential refuge for people.

Ancient Earth becomes the unexpected destination when the mission goes awry, sending the unit four billion years into the past. The crew must now navigate this formidable terrain while also seeking a path back to their own time.

Their journey is interrupted by a hunting creature whose abilities and form are mysterious. Though its power is unmistakable, it remains largely hidden. To navigate this threat and ensure their return to the correct time, the team must rely on their abilities and resources.
