The gameplay of RR7 is a little basic but once you unlock the different types of nitrous the strategy of the game really opens up.
Here I'm completing the "final" race of the game using the Soldat Raggio with grip+3 tires, the Druaga engine, flex nitrous, and the slipstream plugin.

I really enjoy using the Raggio to beat the special cars. It feels really good to do, which balances the unfortunate bug that means the RPCS3 emulator crashes if you try to play with a special car while using the emulator mode that gives you a stable framerate.
