Storm Chandra will start to move in from the west tonight and through tomorrow. Main impacts will be felt in the southwest of England and Northern Ireland. This afternoon, there is a yellow rain warning in place for Northern Ireland. There will also be showers over Wales and southwest England, as well as snow showers over higher ground in Scotland. Elsewhere, conditions will be drier but still cloudy. Temperatures will be slightly below average for the time of year. This is the Met Office UK weather forecast for the afternoon of 26/01/2026.
