After reinforcing the platform, changing rolling stocks, adjusting the stopping position and more platform works, the first batch of platform gates on the MTR East Rail Line is officially in service on 2023/05/07! However, you can only see the platform gates twice a week as the station only opens on horse racing days. The platform gates are manufactured by Shenzhen Fangda in China and are installed at the last 2 doors of Racecourse Station Platform 1. There are more patterns on the platform gates than in previous instalments. All East Rail Line stations will get platform gates in or before 2025.

經過月台加固工程，更換列車，調整停車位置及前期工程後，東鐵綫首批閘門正式在2023年5月7日上線啦！但因為馬場站只在賽馬日開啟，每星期只有兩天能看到。閘門由深圳方大製造，安裝在馬場站1號月台最後2道門，設計上比過往的閘門多了一些圖案。所有車站將會在2025年或之前完成安裝閘門的工程。
