Join David Nekrutman and Tamara Pool, in the fifth episode of the Biblical Excavations Podcast, as they interview Dr. Quonekuia A. Day. Besides being an ordained minister with the Church of God in Tennessee, Dr. Day is an Assistant Professor of Old Testament at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and also serves on the board for the Society of Gospel Haymanot (SGH).

With a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Emmanuel College, a Master of Social Work from Boston University, a Master of Divinity and Master of Theology from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and a PhD from North-West University in South Africa, she is also a public speaker specializing in the area of Old Testament and sexuality. Dr. Day has been featured multiple times by the Jude 3 Project for her writing and as a panelist for their Courageous Conversations Conference. Dr. Day is the author of “Feminist, Womanist and Gospelist Interpretations of the Daughters of Zelophehad: Bridging the Gap amongst competing traditions,” in the multi-authored book Gospel Haymanot (https://tinyurl.com/r3h7npmb).

She serves as the director of ministerial care and development at Deliverance Temple Worship Center in Dorchester, MA.
