How to make a Simple Sculpting Stand and use less Clay

In this video I'm making a clay stand for a portrait in haste - I used to work on a metal holder that would start rusting and damaging clay. Therefore, I've decided to move just slightly away from tradition. This, so far, seems to efficient, light-weight, clay-saving and easily recyclable way.

I'm looking forward to seeing how it will behave when making a plaster mold.
