Here are some reasons why I invest in forest land. I prefer investing in forest and timber land over residential or commercial real estate. I will give some of the advantages and disadvantages.

Investing in raw land can be very different from investing in developed land with a house or commercial building.

I have been in the firewood business, bundled firewood, decorative branch business, I have exported forest products.
