Tutorial: how to gather fabric with the BERNINA Overlocker/Serger Gathering Foot

https://www.bernina.com/accessories | In this video we will show you how to gather fabric using the gathering feet for overlockers of the BERNINA L 8 series.

The foot is used to gather fine single layers of fabrics and to simultaneously stitch them to a flat piece. We recommend using the 4-thread overlock stitch for optimum results.

Gathering foot L18 is for overlock machines of the L8 series (L 850 and L 860). Gathering foot C18 is for overlock stitches on the overlock-coverstitch-combo machine L 890.

Gathering is performed using the differential feed, which is set to 2 for maximal gathering.
