Local heritage artist, Howard Schroeder, is the subject of the Peninsula Gallery’s April 2025 exhibition. In this exciting retrospective showcase, 40+ original paintings from the Schroeder family’s private collection of varying styles, mediums, and subjects are available for purchase. “Howard Schroeder: A Retrospective” assembles a rich compilation of work that will excite collectors, inspire artists, and enthuse all audiences in between.

In this short video, we’ll explore Howard Schroeder’s history, his connection to Lewes, and how sales from this exhibition will benefit local high school students in the future.

"Howard Schroeder: A Retrospective" is on display at the Peninsula Gallery from April 5-27, 2025. Works from the show can be previewed at www.peninsula-gallery.com.

The gallery is located in the Shoppes at the Beacon Inn, 520 East Savannah Rd. Lewes, DE, and is open Tue-Sat, 10-5, and Sun 11-3.
