Making rings out of American Half Dollar coins. Franklin and Kennedy coin rings.

Making two American coin rings out of U.S. Half Dollar coins. This time I made a video of how I worked with my Etsy user's custom order. Two rings were ordered from American half dollar coins dated 1963 and 1997. A half dollar coin from 1963 (Franklin) has been made from 90% silver. A half dollar coin from 1997 (Kennedy) have been made with a combination of copper and nickel (inside the coin is a copper core clad in a copper-nickel alloy).
Both Half Dollar coin rings are made in size 8.5 US. At first I was in doubt which side of the coins should be on the outside and which side should be on the inside. But in the end I decided that the side where the year is visible and the text "In God we trust" should be on top. And I think that the rings turned out very beautiful!
