Prime Minister Narendra Modi Tuesday boarded a metro train from Khan Market station on way to attend an event at ISKCON temple in south Delhi's East of Kailash, officials said.
Modi will unveil a giant Bhagavad Gita, running into 670 pages and weighing 800 kg, at the temple, located near Kailash Colony metro station.
Dubbed the 'Astounding Bhagavad Gita', and measuring 2.8 m by 2 m, it is billed as the ""largest principle sacred text ever to be printed,"" according to ISCKON.
अधिकारियों ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी मंगलवार को दक्षिण दिल्ली के ईस्ट ऑफ कैलाश में इस्कॉन मंदिर में एक कार्यक्रम में भाग लेने के लिए खान मार्केट स्टेशन से मेट्रो ट्रेन में सवार हुए।
मोदी कैलाश कॉलोनी मेट्रो स्टेशन के पास स्थित मंदिर में 670 पृष्ठों में चल रहे और 800 किलोग्राम वजन वाले विशाल भगवत गीता का अनावरण करेंगे।
ISCKON के अनुसार, 'अस्वादिंग भगवद गीता' को डब करके 2.8 मीटर से 2 मीटर तक मापते हुए इसे "सबसे बड़ा सिद्धांत पवित्र पाठ के रूप में छापा जाता है।
