New Products: CMC Triggers, Ed Brown, Howa & Masterpiece Arms

Howa 'bout triggering your creativity to build your own Masterpiece? Paul Levy, leader of the Brownells new products crew, has the answers to that question! The Masterpiece Arms chassis system for the Remington 700 is tailor-made for PRS and similar long-range target shooting applications. It has more buttstock adjustments than you'll know what to do with, multiple QD sling swivel sockets, AND a built-in spirit level. The vertical pistol grip with handy thumb shelf is the style preferred by many target shooters, and the forend accepts ALL the common bipod mounting systems. And those are just the highlights of the Masterpiece's feature set. The Howa 1500 Barreled Action chambered in the popular .300 AAC Blackout has a 16" hammer-forged barrel with a threaded muzzle that's begging for a sound suppressor. From CMC Triggers, Paul has a drop-in trigger module optimized for ultra-reliable function in pistol-caliber AR-15s, which don't always play nicely with mil-spec rifle triggers. The nice 3.5 lb. pull? Almost a bonus. Finally, the Ed Brown Drop-In Match 1911 Barrel has spiral fluting on the exterior. Better cooling, sure, but mostly it just looks awesome!
