Every issue of the FPV Builders Newsletter we hope to bring you some #ProTips and examples of how we use them to build drones on a daily basis for our clients. Our hope is to help set the FPV Builders community up to succeed by giving not only our advice but coupling it with video content and links where to buy or find out more information about the products and techniques we discuss.

We are often asked “what do I need to build a drone?” and the answer is usually a long-winded and mind-boggling list of soldering irons, hex drivers, and shrink tube that leaves people with less confidence than before they asked. Before we get into the tools and on how to use them I wanted to not ignore the items I left off the list, including soldering iron, shrink tube, extra wire, heat gun, and so much more that we could discuss. Instead, I put together a list of items I often see people not using or using other more complicated processes or products that are not helping them as much as hindering them. In future content, we will definitely discuss the soldering iron choices, how to solder, and the other miscellaneous related tools and concepts.
