Fixing my laptop... with a ziptie

From bad to worse: the laptop was overheating. Although it was clean and had relatively new, high-quality thermal paste (Noctua, maximum 2 years old or so), I woke up on Sunday with 68 degrees Celsius at idle and 90 degrees when just browsing YouTube.
It actually started to stutter, which is how I found out, as it didn't make sense for it to run so slowly. So, with the fan running at maximum speed, I thought about the temperature.

As a result... the repair can be seen in the video. A small plastic ziptie, a shim, or whatever you want to call it, worked wonders. :-))
Being Sunday, I had no other solutions.
A video will follow where I repair it properly and all that. The laptop is an Asus ROG GL552VX, with an i7-6700HQ, 16 GB RAM, Nvidia 950M. So it's decent, still works, I have Linux Mint on it and use it often. It has seen a lot, having been used many hours a day for various things.
