Exploring DuPont State Forest in North Carolina

Описание к видео Exploring DuPont State Forest in North Carolina

Today, I load up my mountain bike and head to the North Carolina Mountains to explore parts of DuPont State Forest. DuPont forest is a 10,400 acre state forest located near Cedar Mountain, North Carolina in Henderson and Transylvania counties. The name comes from the old DuPont X-ray film plant that used to be in the area before the land was purchased from DuPont to become the state forest.

There are 90+ miles of trails and dirt roads within the forest for exploring. This time I ride Conservation Rd, Three Lakes Trail, Bridal Veil Falls Rd./Trail, Barn Trail, Airstrip Trail, Fawn Lake Rd/Loop, Camp Summit Road, and Lake View Loop. You'll see along the way: High Falls Covered Bridge, Lake Dense, Bridal Veil Falls, The Airstrip, Fawn Lake, and Lake Julia.

Trail Mileage: 90+ Miles

About this channel:
Do you enjoy watching first person videos of people riding their bikes at super fast speeds, hitting big jumps, and doing sick tricks, all while risking their life on the most dangerous trails on earth? Me too! But, you will not find any of that content here. Only videos of me trying to do my best just to survive basic trails at an all out crazy slow pace. So let's make sure there is no one behind us wanting to pass and get ready to count the many "on your left" callouts as we ride along on today's adventure.
